QUESTIONS

1. Do you believe that we could ever have a city without police? (YES or NO only, please)

No

2. What would you do, as an elected official, to bring us closer to police abolition?

We cannot negate the fact that those communities who are at the brunt of police brutality are also at the brunt of community violence but this crimes aren’t caused by bad actors rather it’s the abject poverty, disinvestment, and negligence, I will address this issues from the root cause and funnel part of these funds to youth empowerment, uplifting our communities of color, education, mental health, victim advocacy etc. I see a safe police-free city if we collectively agree on how the system is broken and work on fixing it.
