Pollen Sunset Updates

Over the next few months Pollen will be winding down its operations.

As we prepare to sunset Pollen and intentionally phase out its programming, we’ll keep sharing updates along the way. Despite our best efforts, a long-term solution is not possible and as a result, the difficult decision to sunset the organization will take into effect in the Spring of 2024.

We want to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who surrounded us during this difficult time. The team and board has been exploring several avenues to rebuild after almost closing our doors in July, however it is not feasible to receive enough funding to continue operations with the staff we’d need for this work.

As of April 3rd, Pollen is no longer accepting GiveMN donations, Patreon subscriptions, merch sales or paid opportunities listing.
Pollen’s job board is no longer accepting new entries. Any paid opportunities submitted after March 16th will be reimbursed. You’ll receive an email confirmation from the [email protected] account for confirmation.
Pollen’s team went through additional layoffs and an official close date will be announced in the near future.
Stay tuned for a few more opportunities for the community to gather together in-person to mourn this loss, celebrate the life of this organization and share gratitude for all that Pollen was for fourteen years.

Please do not alter, print or sell Content without or express written permission. If you do, we may pursue legal action against you.

6. Disclaimer or Warranties. Pollen makes no representation or warranty about the completeness, accuracy, or adequacy of any information, facts, opinions, statements or recommendations contained on the Site.

The Site may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance or malfunction of computer equipment or for various other reasons. We assume no responsibility or liability for malfunctions or other problems with any hosting services, computer systems, servers or providers, equipment or software used in connection with the Site.

Pollen cannot guarantee that any content, including user submitted content, will be maintained on the site or in any archive. You agree that Pollen has no responsibility or liability for the deletion of, or the failure to store, any submitted content. Pollen Midwest Privacy Policy

Pollen Midwest (“Pollen,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to delivering interesting and relevant content while protecting the privacy of our users and contributors. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) identifies what information we collect, how we collect it, and how it is used (collectively, the “Services”). Please read the entire Policy before using the Services. 6. Third Party Sites and Services. Pollen utilizes third party vendors Stripe, MailChimp and EventBrite for ecommerce, newsletters and ticketing, respectively. These sites are not under the control of Pollen and have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

7. Communications Preferences. You may choose not to receive promotional emails, newsletters, or communications from us. You may opt out of receiving emails from us by clicking on the “update subscription preferences” or “unsubscribe from this list” links included in the e-mails you receive. Please note that opt-out requests may take up to 14 business days to be effective.
