The work to move Minneapolis toward a better future is deeply intertwined with how we teach our children. Education is a tool that not only prepares them for that future, but empowers them to help shape it.

The Minneapolis Board of Education plays a major role in shaping the education system in our city, though the role our community can play in shaping the Board often goes unrecognized.

The candidates for the Board of Education have different priorities, visions, and ideas about the future of education in Minneapolis. It’s our job to get plugged in, so we can make informed decisions. With schools, systems, and communities that offer the right support, all children can find success. Let’s do our part.

All Minneapolis residents can vote for an at-large candidate, but you can also vote for a district specific candidate. To see who is on your ballot click here
