These Are Strange Days
Pollen is committed to nurturing community and social connection during these times of physical distancing and isolation related to the current public health crisis.
We intend to keep doing what we do best — creating space for people to process the complex issues facing our community, elevating voices that go unheard far too often, and holding our shared humanity at the center of it all.
Pollen is hosting a series of virtual gatherings every Thursday at 2 PM Central, each one featuring a community member from a wide spectrum of life in our region. In these one-on-one conversations, they’ll share their personal experience with the COVID-19 crisis, how they’re dealing with increased isolation, how they’re making ends meet at a time of economic uncertainty, how they’re helping to build a community of care, even as we’re kept apart.
