Minnesota Trauma Recovery Institute (MN-TRI) is a Minneapolis based nonprofit whose vision is to heal the legacy of traumatic stress in families involved in the criminal justice system. We provide high quality therapeutic services to justice-involved individuals and families and work systemically to interrupt inequitable social structures that lead to cycles of trauma and addition.
Our values: Rooted in social and racial justice, we strive to embody fairness, collaboration, sustainability, competence and growth in human potential.
We’re seeking passionate, energetic, individuals who share our values and vision. Come join us on our board! We are especially interested in board member candidates with experience in at least one of the following:
Finance
Fundraising and development
Public relations/marketing
Social media
Life experience with criminal justice, recovery and/or mental health systems
To better serve our community, we strive for diversity in race, gender-identity and socioeconomic status among staff and board members. Black, Indigenous, People of Color, queer/gender non-conforming, and people with low-incomes are strongly encouraged to apply. This board is made up of volunteers. No position on the board is paid.
